the grad show has come and gone.

it's sad that the class is now going to separate, and the hyperbubble has been effectively disbanded (until we can get our own studio space!)

i got back to my room at 330am but i didnt get to sleep until about 530ish. maybe i should have gone with tessar  and them for food....  ah well, its all good.

turn into a kid again after watching SUPERMAN RETURNS.

since tuesday last week, my geek factor has risen 100 points since i have seen the movie twice and planning to go a third.
first time was a special 10 pm screening before opening day (tuesday) with the (immediate) family, and the second time was on friday with my friends.

why watch it so much? well, the movie is that good. it made me feel all tingly, and giddy, and want to fly much like the original movie did when i first saw it. and it also has a major points increase with me because of 2 things:

1 - it directed by bryan singer - awesome director
2 - kate bosworth is hot

and now on a much different note, i was stupid on saturday and have sustained injury. that is to say, i hurt myself while taking out the baseboards (in order to take out the carpet) in my room. how did i hurt myself? well, lets just say it involved my leg and half of an inch long nail. i'm pretty sure that explanation is enough to paint a picture of what happened so ill just leave it at that.

...the wonder that is HOOTER'S!!...

anyway...

...note worthy things that happend that night in general/there in HOOTER'S:

• everytime the waitresses came around, me amigo ariel (a guy, despite the name) kept making up bullshit adult-like-businessy conversation.
• i was a bad boy - i was smoking... shhh, no telling...
• i really really REALLY wished that i had brought my camera... XP
• i chugged 4 pints of beer... no little sips or whatever. i would pour beer then chug. but i didnt feel the slightest of buzzes.
• ended up eating the most and paying the most for the joint bill... even tho i was a last minute addition...
• managed to get some more illustration hook ups (meaning more illustration work) so hopefully i can definitely quit timmies soon :)

i have some art to post but im too lazy to scan right now. maybe on friday... after watching CARS... hehe

...i have something to post.

i mean, my life is pretty boring but there times when something not-so-boring pops up. which then brings us to what happend in yesterday's wing night.

see, yesterday was actually my first wing night with the guys (but they've been doing it for a few weeks now). it was also my return to hanging out with them after a month long hiatus (eversince darryl's jam @ distrikt). so anyway, when the time came for us to order our respective plates of wings, i couldn't decide how much to get. well, a little bit of that reason, but mostly because the waitress was hot and i wanted to keep her there for a while longer. then finally deciding, i was about to say 20 wings like the others but darryl got impatient and taunted me to get 30, saying that i couldn't do it.

so i turn to him, turn back to the hot waitress, and order the 30 wings for myself. the guys couldn't believe it. even the waitress couldn't belive it. they even pointed out that eggbert can't eat 30, struggling when it came to the 25th. i just grinned and told them that they havn't seen me eat ribs... that they have no idea how much i can eat.

well, in the end they witnessed the skinny man turn 30 wings to 0... and then complain later that i was still hungry. and seriously i was. even after 30 wings, i was still hungry and even ate some more when i got home.

tis true. dont belive me? i have the reciept... cuz as punishment for not hanging out with them for a while i had to pay.

hehe.

oh, and im being bad. im at co-op right now posting this instead of working.

..since i havnt finished KH2 yet, but im posting anyway. i was planning on actually putting up some doodles of mine that ive done recently but im way too tired (and not too mention lazy) right now. i mean, for all intents and purposes, i should be sleeping right now.

*gasp*

sleep already? it's not even past midnight yet! am i really so tired that i actually need to sleep earlier than my "normal" 2am bed time?

simple answer: YES

i am that tired. im bloody exhausted. i am drained like nobody's business. the days of my life for the last month have been filled with pretty much nothing (darryl's party was in APRIL, im talking now - as in MAY) but the tiring cycle of co-op and working at tim's. (oh, pls someone get me out of tim's and pls, pls, pls, make my co-op employers PAY ME) this cycle is 4 days of co-op and 3 days at tim's. yes, that's 7 days a week. i have no rest.

monday to thursday, im at the office downtown from 10am-6pm. i get up at 8 and get home at 8. then fridays to sundays, im at tim's, which is no fun at all. the long weekend helped a bit, but im still tired.

some of my friends r actually mad at me for not hanging out with them over the last month. they just dont get how hard it is for me to do anything right now. even when i told them that im tired, they just say "so?!"

ugh.

well, hopefully i'll be able to rest a bit more this weekend. i mean, using my incredible manipulative powers (ahem, translation - lying like a rug) i mangaed to get this friday and monday off from both co-op and tim's.

hopefully.

...so addictive...

...only one more colosieum cup to go then im done with sidequests...

...then its off to kick the bosses butt and enjoy the fruits of my labor...

...that and i would have time to make a proper post...

wow.

its been almost 2 months since my last post. i got no excuses for it really. well, nothing new really. just same old dance of laziness, business, and uninspiredness-ness-ness-ness.....

yeah, okay. im bloody freaking bored right now. i have nothing to do here. no school. stupid college strike. the only reason that im even here in my boring old apartment is because of the 0.1% chance that the strike will end and class will resume. but noooo. there hasnt even been anything along the lines as to when the 2 sides of the strike are going to go back into talks.

the only good thing out of this whole thing? i can touch up my existing projects before handing them in and i can also focus some more time to finding myself a decent co-op placement.

today i leared something new:

my parents are thinking of moving the family to calgary after i graduate from sheridan.

more than just thinking actually, they actually want to do it. my response to this news? a confused "huh?" and a dumbfounded "why?" my mom in turn responds with "why not?"

i'm not too sure at this point if this will happen but i'm gonna do everything i can to stay in toronto. i mean, calgary is supposed to be even colder than here in the winter - and not to mention that if i'm to have any sort of career as an illustrator, i need to stay not in praireland but in metropolitan toronto.

i need to upgrade my comp.
well, to be more specific, i want to build a new one.
the current machine isnt really dying or anything but i need more graphical processing power for any higher end illustrations that i am doing and will no doubt do.
i could just get a new video card but that isnt really practical.
why? because i was trying to keep myself from playing pc games during college by getting a comp with an integrated graphics card - a crappy intel integrated graphics card.
i soon realized that mistake but have been able to live with it so far.
but now im really feeling the limitations especially since im always working at 300dpi

....

well, that and i want a dual moniter setup. >.<

oh well, back to work.
